The Lambertville New Hope Winter Festival board of directors recently awarded plaques to 2016 Winter Festival sponsors. This is the first year that Winter Festival has formally handed out awards to its sponsors.
After 19 years, the board of directors felt it was important for Winter Festival to formally thank our sponsors, many of which donate every year, announced Dudley Rice, Winter Festival chairman. Winter Festival has cumulatively given back over $385,000 to our community. That money comes directly from our many generous sponsors and from the people who pay for our ticketed events.
The 2016 sponsors who received plaques were: First National Bank Trust, Lambertville Station and Triumph Brewing Company, Platinum Sponsors; Solebury Township Parks and Recreation and Stephan Design Center, Gold Sponsors; Hopewell Valley Community Bank, ShopRite of Hunterdon County and Danaher Lynch Foundation, Silver Sponsors; George Michael Co., Penn Wealth Planning, New Hope Parks and Recreation, Finkles and Niece Lumber, all Bronze Sponsors.
The festival could not take place without the many hours of dedication from our esteemed volunteers, said Winter Festival president, Glen Stephan. The board extends its thanks to everyone who participated in and donated to the 2016 Lambertville New Hope Winter Festival.
Each year Winter Festival brings thousands of locals and visitors to New Hope, Pennsylvania and Lambertville, to celebrate history, music, art and family fun over 9 full days of activities. The next Lambertville New Hope Winter Festival is scheduled for Jan. 21-29, 2017. Returning to Winter Festival are ticketed events that include the yearly Concert VIP Reception, Revolutionary Pub Crawl, Taste of Winter Fest, Pancake Breakfast, Beef n Brew, and, of course, the ever-popular Chili Cook-Off. Free events include the Gallery Crawl, Family Activities, Ice Sculptures, Hikes and Tours and the Snowfolk Art competition and exhibition.
The Lambertville New Hope Winter Festival is a non-profit corporation that hosts a yearly multi-day festival with goals to raise funds for local non-profit support organizations and to provide a family-friendly cold-weather experience in the river town communities of Lambertville, New Jersey and New Hope, Pennsylvania.
